How to register license in CrossFTP

If you have got the CrossFTP Pro/Enterprise license, or the evaluation license, you can go to menu Help -> Register... to input the license code. After CrossFTP's restart, it will turn into the licensed version. The following is the sample screenshot FYI:

How to Solve CrossFTP's Small Font Issue on 4k Screen

CrossFTP's menus and font in file window are too small on 4k screen in Windows.
 To solve this:
  1. Find java.exe and javaW.exe you installed. This file is normally located under CrossFTP installation folder's jre/bin subfolder, or the Java installation folder if you are using separated JDK.
  2. Right click -> Properties
  3. Go to Compatibility tab
  4. Check Override high DPI scaling behavior.
  5. Choose System for Scaling performed by:

OpenStack Swift Rackspace Cient Support in CrossFTP


OpenStack Swift Rackspace storage is an online on-demand data storage service offered by Rackspace. Rackspace US provides a simple web server to access any file that is stored in their storage cloud.

To get a Rackspace US account
  1. Open signup page and connect to your Rackspace Cloud files account.
  2. Get the Rackspace API key at Rackspace cloud control panel -> User Management page.


To connect to Rackspace storage in CrossFTP
  1. Create a new Site in CrossFTP (e.g., Sites -> Site Manager), and  choose Protocol as OpenStack Swift
  2. Fill in the User Name and API Key field.


How to transfer files from/to Rackspace storage?
Just like the traditional FTP file transfer, you can just Drag & Drop the files from/to your Rackspace site. Multiple tabs, multiple threads, queue modifications, directory synchronizations, Site to site transfer, etc are naturally supported for the Rackspace transfer as well.

Microsoft Azure Blob Storage Support in CrossFTP

Microsoft Azure blob storage is an online on-demand data storage service offered by Microsoft. Microsoft Azure provides a simple web server to access any file that is stored in their storage cloud.

To get an Microsoft Azure account
  1. Open Page Sign Up for Microsoft Azure blob storage, click the Start button and follow the instructions.
  2. After success registration, you will find the storage account name and access key at your Storage Accounts -> name -> Access keys

To connect to Microsoft Azure in CrossFTP
  1. Create a new Site in CrossFTP (e.g., Sites -> Site Manager), and  choose Protocol as Microsoft Azure/HTTPS
  2. Fill in the Account Name and Access Key field.

 How to create container
Container : Each of the files and folders stored in Microsoft Azure is contained in a container. It's like "top level folder" or "top level drive".
To create a container in CrossFTP, just go to the root folder \, and choose Create a new Folder. That top level folder represents a container.

How to transfer files from/to Microsoft Azure?
